MAIN HEADLINE
This is the view from the Church Unit in Spring Hill. The renovation took around 6 months to complete. Below are some before and after photos.
Before images of the kitchen, dining and living room. It was mostly open plan though to make more room we knocked out the small return wall hiding the kitchen. It created much more space and opened up the kitchen to the rest of the area.
This is the final product. The large smokey black tiles reflect much more light than we imagined and the white walls make a great contrast to the dark depths of the floors. The kitchen bench is black stone and the mosaic tiles on the splash back wall are glass. The blinds on the windows block out a lot of light while not impeding the view.

Left are the before images of the main bedroom. On the right you can see we ripped out the dated wardrobe and replaced it with a contemporary open storage unit. The room feels much larger without the wall of cupboard doors.

Perhaps the biggest transformation is the bathroom. We ripped out the bath with overhead shower and replaced it with a funky shower head and glass screen. We also installed a double tap hand basin.
The second bedroom didn't need much attention aside from some minor wall patching.
In the ahh... loo, we used a compact cistern and bowl to make the small space larger.
