Speeding by...
How fast is this year going? It seems our boy Henry only just arrived but he will have his first birthday next month! We will probably forget to keep up tradition:) He is such a character. His little personality is emerging rapidly and the girls had better watch their step. Lily is helping him out by trying to establish a pecking order where Henry is at the bottom. Today she came off second best to Henry for the first time though we are not sure she will remember that next time she wants to put him in his place. Zoe is learning not to put her lovely locks too close to his chubby fist as is usually ends in her tears and a chubby fist full of golden hair.

Growing monkeys...
The girls are doing quite well now they don’t have a regular nap during the day. Lec was very dubious about them not lying down even for a little while but they generally play so well that it hasn’t been a very big transition. However at night, especially after a day out at the museum, they beg to go to bed at around 6pm. We are all totally ok with that! Most mornings they sleep until past 6am though it may get earlier as the summer approaches. Lec has moved her runs to the morning (when she isn’t sick!) and it is good daddy and kid time while she is out making enough endorphins to get through the day.
