The man in red has been…
This year the children were spoiled. No surprises there. They are spending the day playing with all their new toys and books and are actually getting along quite well (the day is not done though…)
Christmas Eve saw all three stay up later than Henry ever has (730pm) to watch a movie. It was a real special treat and they even let us sleep in until 630am! The girls woke up first and their little voices were so lovely to hear when they discovered their Santa sacks at the end of their beds.  Henry had to be woken up and shown what his Santa sack was all about. Nanna had stacked them with healthy snacks and Henry has spent most of the day stuffing his face with food. None of it was real bad so their behaviour has been very good.  Tomorrow we will have Lec’s family join us and the children are really looking forward to spending some time with their cousins.

Christmas Eve with the playroom all ready to be filled up with new pressies!
Last month…
Our beautiful flower Lily turned four. She is quite proud of being four…
Lily: Zoe, I just LOVE being four!!
Zoe: Wait until you are five, it is much better!
Nothing has really changed with Lily; her tantrums are still massive as are her emotions and cuddles. We are happy with her progress at kindy and her teacher has not complained so we assume she is doing well enough. Lily has one more year at kindy and is asking to go there most days since the kindy break up. She has yet to understand the concept of holidays though she will be very ready for prep in a year.
Zoe is really enjoying her holidays. Her prep year ended with a fun week of water play (The Super Awesome Mega Fun Day) and an afternoon class party on the last day. We have made some wonderful friends this year and we are looking forward to school next year to see them all again. With a new class we will also have an opportunity to make more friends.
Henry is being his usual charming self and beating his sisters up less often. There has even been a day or two where all three have played together really well with only a few fights. One day they even went nearly an hour playing a game together with no one screaming. Lec was amazed.

Lily and her artwork that was displayed at the Kindy Art Exhibition. It is a painting of Lily and Zoe.

More art for the world…
Lec has had some more of her prints released by itti bitti nappy co. There are three of hers this season, wo-bott is more definatly a favourite here! The Expo season does not start until March but Lec is already looking forward to her little working holiday in Adelaide and a chance to catch up with some dear friends from her mother’s group.
Heath has be winding down a little for Christmas and expects 2012 to be a huge one for Macross http://www.macross.com.au/ (yes Lec designed the Macross logo:)

We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. We pray you all stay safe for the New Year and wish you all the best 2012 has to offer. Thank you for reading our little Chronicles and thanks for your return emails.
We love hearing about how you are all going and feel very blessed that you are all a part of our life.
Love
Alexis, Heath, Henry, Lily and Zoe
